We facilitated Latin American Days on four high schools in Denmark. The 3rd year Spanish students were immersed in creative workshops and a concert with Cumbian Colors.
Carla from Argentina facilitated the collage workshops (in Spanish), where the students worked creatively to create a collages using the knowledge they had about gender equality and access to S&RHR education in Colombia, Mexico and Argentina. Each group received a sentence that they had to create in collage, and later they had to guess the sentences for each collage. This way the students also used their Spanish language both written and spoken.
Beautiful products came out of it, and it was great to see how different each collage was even though they had the same materials to work with.
During the improvisation theater workshop, Carolina from Argentina, took the students on a journey of improvisation where they had to come out of their comfort zone, using their cultural and context understanding together with their Spanish language to improvise different situations:
